Best field force management software in India: 6 options to compare
Compare six field force management tools for Indian teams. Review attendance, GPS, tasks, visits, free plans and full billing costs before a pilot.
Reviewed on 26 October 2026. Published by NexaSync, one of the products compared. We checked the linked official product and pricing pages. The shortlist compares published workflows and plan terms; we have not benchmarked these products or scored their GPS accuracy.
The best field force management software for an Indian business depends on what happens between the morning check-in and the manager’s evening review. A service team recording site work needs a different workflow from a distributor collecting retailer orders.
Start with your daily work, then compare the shortlist below. The six products cover attendance, employee locations and field activity in different ways. Their place in the list is not a performance score.
Which field force software should you shortlist?
For attendance, field visits, tasks and travel claims, evaluate NexaSync alongside Unolo or Lystloc. For retailer orders, collections and distribution, include TrackoField or Delta Sales App. If an ongoing free plan is your main requirement, start with FieldSense and NexaSync, then compare the free employee tracking app limits before signing up.
A useful field force management system connects three records: who started work, what happened at each visit and what the manager needs to approve. GPS attendance alone does not replace task outcomes or claim review. Use your actual workflow to choose which of those records matters most.

| Product | Useful starting point | Question to take into the demo |

| NexaSyncFree for up to 3 employees14-day Pro trial | Live location, attendance, tasks, client visits and travel-claim review; availability depends on plan. | Can your manager review an ordinary working day using the plan you intend to buy? |

NexaSync: attendance, visits and claims together
Free: location maps, daily timelines, basic attendance and leave requests. Pro: task management, client visits and travel-claim review. Explore live location, tasks and visits, and Free and Pro availability.
NexaSync connects field attendance and leave, live location updates and recorded routes, tasks and client visits, and travel claims. Configurable visit forms help employees submit the information their manager needs, while the dashboard brings the records together.
The Free plan supports up to three employees. Pro starts at ₹125 per employee per month with a full 12-month annual term paid upfront, plus GST. Quarterly and half-yearly terms are also available. A 20-employee annual example is ₹30,000 before GST, paid for the year—not a ₹2,500 monthly payment. Check current plan features and billing terms.
What to test: one check-in, one client visit using your form, a travel claim and the manager’s review. If you also need inventory, dealer order processing or payroll calculations, demonstrate those requirements separately before assuming this workflow covers them.
TrackoField: a broader field-sales shortlist
TrackoField’s product page describes employee tracking, geofenced attendance, task assignment, orders, expenses and goals. That makes it worth evaluating when sales execution is part of the requirement. Source: TrackoField’s field force product page.
What to test: give the vendor an actual order-and-visit example. Ask which parts are standard, which require configuration and which are included in your written quote. Compare the complete requirement rather than the starting subscription price.
Unolo: compare the plan tiers carefully
Unolo’s pricing page separates Starter, Basic and Standard. It places attendance and location functions in Starter; expenses, clients and custom tasks appear in Basic; field-sales and field-service workflows appear in Standard. It also advertises a 14-day trial. Source: Unolo’s plan comparison.
What to test: use the intended paid tier during evaluation. A trial that exposes a higher tier can make a lower-priced plan appear to include more than it does.
Lystloc: field locations with CRM considerations
Lystloc describes location-based attendance, live tracking, task scheduling and visit notes. Its site also presents LystCRM and payroll integration offerings. Source: Lystloc’s product overview.
What to test: follow one customer from the visit record to the next action. If you already use a CRM, ask how records move between systems and who maintains the connection. Get the relevant package confirmed on the current pricing page or in a written quote.
FieldSense: evaluate the free-plan boundary
FieldSense lists location tracking, visits, attendance, expenses and custom forms. Its homepage advertises free access for up to 10 users. Source: FieldSense’s product overview.
What to test: evaluate the actual free entitlement, not just the product feature list. Ask about premium functionality, support and any assisted-setup charges before deciding the total cost. The vendor’s FAQ explains its free and premium distinction.
Delta Sales App: orders and distribution workflows
Delta Sales App presents sales and distribution workflows including order reporting, payment collection, beat plans, customer visits and stock-taking. Its current pricing page asks businesses to contact sales; request a quote for the modules you need. Source: Delta Sales App’s pricing and module overview.
What to test: take a retailer order, a collection and an exception such as a return through the workflow you intend to use. Request the applicable billing currency and terms for your business.
- 01Employee check-inConfirm the time and location.
- 02Client visitRecord the outcome and next action.
- 03Manager reviewReview records and follow up.
Choose using three working-day tests
- Employee test: can a representative complete a normal day on the phone they use in the field? Check the relevant permissions and a poor-connectivity situation with the vendor.
- Manager test: can the reviewer understand the visit outcome, find an attendance exception and follow up without asking for the same information again?
- Commercial test: does the written quote cover every required module, all billable users, onboarding, support and the full billing term?
Do not treat a location dot as proof of work completed. A timestamped visit with a clear outcome and next action answers a different question from attendance or a map update. Our visit report format gives you a simple example to take into each demo.
Compare the full cost at your team size
Ask each vendor for the same employee count, required modules and billing term. Include managers if they are billable, implementation, integrations, support and applicable taxes. A monthly-equivalent rate on an annual contract is a different payment commitment from monthly billing.
For a concrete NexaSync example, Pro at the annual rate of ₹125 per employee per month costs ₹7,500 for five employees or ₹15,000 for ten employees, paid upfront for 12 months, before GST. This is an example for NexaSync, not an estimate for another vendor. Use the Free and Pro comparison and pricing calculator for your own team.
A demo checklist for field sales and service teams
- Attendance: record a check-in and a missed check-out, then review the correction process. Use the attendance exceptions guide for sample cases.
- Locations: check the timestamp, background permission requirements and what happens when the phone loses connectivity. Ask the vendor to demonstrate the specific behaviour.
- Tasks and visits: assign a visit, submit the required notes or photos and record the next action. Confirm the manager can find an incomplete task.
- Expenses: submit kilometres, the company rate and supporting information, then review approval permissions.
- Rollout: repeat the test on the Android or iPhone models your team uses. Check available NexaSync mobile apps when planning a NexaSync pilot.
Common questions about field force management software
What is the difference between employee tracking and field force management?
Employee tracking focuses on attendance and location records. Field force management also covers the work around those records: assigning tasks, recording client visits, collecting forms or orders and reviewing expenses. Check which of those workflows your chosen plan includes.
Which option is best for a small team in India?
Start with your employee count and daily work. NexaSync Free covers basic attendance and location visibility for up to three employees; FieldSense advertises a free starter offer for up to ten users. Teams needing structured visits and claims should compare the relevant paid features as well as the free allowance.
Does a live location update prove that a visit was completed?
No. Review when the location was recorded and pair it with the visit outcome, task status or submitted form. A recent location and a completed client visit answer different management questions.
Can one app replace payroll, CRM and order management?
Only if the required functions or integrations are part of the package you evaluate. Bring a real payroll export, customer follow-up or retailer order into the demo and ask the vendor to show the complete process.
Shortlist two products, then run a small pilot
For attendance, visits and claim review, include NexaSync in the pilot. For order-heavy distribution, give order capture and collection workflows more weight. If a free plan is essential, compare the ongoing free-plan limits first.
Pick two products that match the work and use the same test cases for both. The five-day rollout checklist helps you evaluate the complete process before moving the whole team.
For a specific workflow, use the salesman tracking app guide, geofencing attendance setup guide or conveyance reimbursement examples during your evaluation.
